How We Met.

Sean & I met in June 2007 when our friends decided to take a weekend trip to Ocean City, Maryland. Mutual friends had been trying to get us together for quite a while and the casual setting in Ocean City was perfect for them to introduce us to one another. I had been in my "I hate men and I want to be single forever" phase for over a year and I had absolutely no interest in meeting him at all. In fact, I was secretly hoping he'd turn out to be a big douche so I wouldn't have to worry about hurting his feelings when I didn't want to date him. Contrary to what I thought I wanted, we had immediate chemistry and found out early on how much we had in common. No matter how hard I tried (and believe me, I did), I couldn't find a reason to NOT like him. We had our first date a week after we got back from Ocean City and as they say... the rest is history. I've been happily stuck with him ever since. My cats fell in love with him too, which is weird because... let's face it... they're cats - they're fickle and they hate everyone. I knew there was something special about him to make them love him the way they do.

The first time we met in Ocean City:

This was the very first time we met in Ocean City. Our friends forced us to take a picture together and to this day, it's one of my favorites. You can see that "just met" bliss on both of our faces. Love it.

In January 2008, we decided to take a leap and move in together. My dad had just built a gigantic new home, so with his old house empty, we decided to take advantage of the situation and start fresh with each other. It's an old house, so it's a lot of up-keep, but we've managed to survive and not tear each other's heads off in the process.

Now we're planning our dream wedding (well... I'm planning and Sean is just doing a lot of nodding and smiling). We can't wait to start married life together.

In the meantime, here's a quick look into us as a couple...
