Flowers.

Ceremony Flowers:

Bride's Bouquet.

My bouquet will be a mixture of soft white dahlia, white ranunculus, stock, white lisianthus, stephanotis with a touch of crystals, and a touch of cream roses. The flowers will be hand tied with an ivory satin ribbon.

I've decided to go with an all white bouquet to compliment my gown. I like the simple elegance of a monochromatic bouquet. I wanted it to be big and fluffy looking, so I think we did pretty good picking out the flowers.

I'm hoping my bouquet will look like the one in the picture to the left, without the greenery.

Groom's Bout.

Sean's bout will match my bouquet in being all white.

He'll be wearing three white stephanotis on his lapel. I didn't want him to have a big flower, since he really doesn't care much about flowers, so I thought the little sweet stephanotis' would be perfect.

Bridesmaids' Bouquets.

My girls will be carrying a mixture of green cymbidium orchids, green hygrangea and green jade rosers. They will be hand tied with green satin ribbon. I think the all green bouquets will really pop against their brown dresses.

Groomsmens' Bouts.

Sean's boys will have a single cymbidium orchid pinned to them. =)

My Mom's Bouquet.

My mom died when I was 16, and it's been reaaaally tough to plan a wedding without her. This is such an important time in a woman's life and thankfully I have other female family/friends in my life that have helped through this process. No one will ever compare to my mom and I wish more than anything in the world that she could be there to watch me walk down the aisle and marry the love of my life. To honor her, I'm leaving a front row aisle seat empty at the ceremony, and placing on it a bouquet of yellow roses, as they were her favorite flowers.

Reception Flowers:

Centerpiece #1

Half of our guest tables will have green hygrangea in 6" x 6" x 6" glass vases with brown river rocks at the bottom. I wanted to keep our centerpieces low, so that people can talk across the table and still see each other. Hydrangea are pretty cheap, and very pretty and I think they'll really pop on our brown linens.

Centerpiece #2

The other half of our guest tables will have low round bowls with brown river rocks on the bottom and green cymbidium orchids floating on top. I really wanted to include orchids in our tables, but since they're quite expensive, I wanted their presence to be minimal.

I plan on using 4 or 5 long lasting tealights at all tables to add to the romantic feel I'm going for.
