He asked. She said "yes."

Sean informed me a few weeks prior that he'd been saving up for a ring, but I didn't think it would be so soon! We went to Fed-Ex to pick up a mysterious package and he refused to tell me what it was. We stopped and got Five Guys burgers for dinner. When we got home, I was in the bedroom getting our little burger feast together when Sean nerviously came upstairs, kneeled on the bed, and asked me to marry him. All I kept saying was "are you serious?!" and "for reaaaal?!!" - and of course I said yes. The proposal was absolutely perfect - very low-key and very US.

Now he really wanted to ask my dad for permission, but since he asked me to marry him as SOON as he got the ring in his hand, he didn't really get a chance. Luckily for him, my dad's girlfriend went into labor the next morning. He pulled my dad aside in the hospital hallway and showed him the ring. My dad gave him his blessing as told him "as long as you make her happy." From there we went straight to Kay Jewelers to get the ring re-sized. I wanted that ring on my finger and I wanted it right then!

Fiances.

This was taken about a week after we got engaged, at his best friend's wedding.
