Herrington on the Bay: Ceremony/Reception/Catering
Janice Loos, in sales, has been wonderful to work with through the planning process. She's been really great about getting back to me within a couple days through email and she has an answer for every question. She really makes us feel like we're important to Herrington and that she'll do whatever it takes to make our day special. We've even been lucky enough to set up our planning meeting with her to pick out our linens, napkins and table ware. She really is the best.

Jen Lowe: Photography
Jen is simply AMAZING - I couldn't say one bad thing about her. Her pictures really capture the emotion of the event she's shooting and that's exactly what I was looking for. I knew she was the one from our first meeting - we just sat and talked for 2 hours about life, photography and our love of cats. We already did our engagement session and I was so shocked at how well they came out. Jen is so talented and I can't wait to work with her on our big day.

Handmade by Allison: Stationary
The first time I saw Allison's website, I knew she had to be the one creating our paper products for us. She makes every element of the design personal to you and you have the final say on how your products look at the end. She even custom designs monograms, which is great, because I'm an idiot when it comes to things like that. As much as I'd love to DIY our paper products, I just don't have the time or the patience - and I'm a perfectionist to a T, so it would never be right. I'm glad we chose Allison - she's great to work with and she does an amazing job.

John Willingham: DJ
I've only spoken to John twice on the phone, but he's a friend of a friend and is giving us a great deal for our reception music. I'm confident that he'll know exactly what to do to keep the party going. He's been in the business for 20+ years and I've heard nothing but good things about him, so I'm excited to have him as a part of the team.

Enticing Icing by Katie: Wedding Cake
Sean & Katie went to high school together and I remember that when he & I first met, she told him "if she's the ONE, you're getting a free wedding cake!" We had a tasting of Katie's cakes back in October 2008 and it was... soooo... good. She's very talented for how young she is and she really has a passion for creating perfect cakes. We haven't really picked a design yet, but I know Katie will make us happy with whatever we choose.

Floral Accents: Flowers
Not only is Terry very sweet, she knows what she's doing. She's been in the business for over 20 years and she has done some fabulous floral arrangements. I don't know squat about flowers, but Terry provided me with a lot of options for the different flowers I could use based on my color scheme and the look I'm going for. I can't wait to work with her!

Nicole Palermo: Make-Up
I was referred to Nicole by my photographer, Jen, who said she's worked with Nicole plenty of times and loves her work. After looking at her portfolio, I have to agree. She does amazing work and all her brides look SO happy with the way they look after Nicole is done with them. I haven't decided what kind of look I'm going for yet, but I'm positive that whatever I pick, Nicole will be able to create something beautiful.

Heidi Kern - Day Of Coordinator
I decided early on that I wanted to hire a day-of-coordinator to allow me to feel stress-free on the wedding day. I was referred to Heidi by a couple girls on the Baltimore message board and I'm glad I got in contact with her. She's really detail oriented and she's done some amazing weddings. She handles just about everything on the wedding day, from directing the bridesmaids down the aisle to displaying escort cards, to putting all your gifts in a designated car at the end of the evening.
